On the evening of May 14, 2017, the 4th Standing Council of the Superhard Materials Branch of China Machine Tool Industry Association was held in the conference hall on the 4th floor of the New Century Grand Hotel in Xi'an. The meeting was chaired by Qiu Lihua, chairman of the Superhard Materials Branch. The meeting discussed and passed the resolution on “Changes in the Chairman of the Superhard Materials Branch and the Secretary-General”.
Due to work reasons, Comrade Qiu Lihua and Comrade Zhao Bo ceased to serve as the chairman and secretary-general of the club. Therefore, the director unit of the branch applies for the change of the chairman and the secretary-general. After the meeting, the delegates voted on the spot and unanimously passed the change of the chairman of the club from Comrade Qiu Lihua to the proposal of Comrade Yan Ning. At the same time, the meeting applauded the proposal to appoint Comrade Sun Zhaoda as the Acting Secretary-General to temporarily preside over the daily work of the club. The official Secretary-General will be elected by the club council when the 2018 branch is reelected.
The Superhard Materials Branch has a total of 43 executive directors and above, of which 32 companies have delegated to participate in the meeting, in line with Article 19 of the "China Machine Tool Industry Association Superhard Materials Branch Charter" "The Board must have 2/3 The above-mentioned directors can only convene, and their resolutions must be approved by the board of directors for more than 2/3 of the voting.

The graphite can also be used as a carbon addition agent for the electric furnace.

Graphite classification
